The Spring 2015 UW-Madison Landscape Architecture class has created a booklet, “Recommendations and Strategies for Green Infrastructure Improvements: Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin”. The class was commissioned by Heart of the City’s Joanne Moon to undertake this as a class project to brainstorm solutions to help guide Fort Atkinson’s downtown development.
From the document- “This document is intended to be a guide for Fort Atkinson city planners who wish to improve the aesthetics and ecological functioning of the downtown Main Street area. We will outline some techniques and design features that we believe will be effective, give implementation recommendations, and provide sources for more detailed information.“
Hard copies are available by asking members of the board. A downloadable pdf is available here.
